Looney Tunes Themed Party

It has been months since I was scouting for party packages for Frankie’s Baptism/Birthday celebration. We wanted it to be a simple one that’s right in the budget and of course where everyone would go home with a happy tummy and all smiles. So when I read some blogs and researched on the restaurants that offer packages for birthdays, I found out that Shakeys suits our preferences.  Here are some reasons why:

• It was near the church where Frankie was baptized, just a few blocks away.
• Right beside Robinsons Magnolia where guests can have an extra parking space and can chill before /after the party.
• They offer an affordable party package (70 pax: 50 adults and 20 kids)
• FOR RESERVATION: They asked for a Php 3,ooo as a down payment that will be deducted from the total bill.
• They serve the food buffet style, where guests can go back until their stomach are fully satisfied 🙂
• They have a free giant pizza with 4 pizza flavors in it as a gift for the birthday celebrant.
• Hassel free from coordinating from vendors with regards to party needs. It saved me a lot of time and yes, stress too.
• They have great themes to choose from: Looney Tunes, Barbie and Hot wheels.
• Their function room can accommodate our specified guests which is 70-80 pax.
• They let us use their TV inside the function room for FREE!!! 🙂
• If you have exceeded the number of guests in the package, you can add a monster meal that is good for 10-12 persons that cost 2,583.
• The host was lively all throughout the program.
• All the staff and crews were so accommodating and will all smiles in granting our requests. Kudos to you guys! 🙂

For the Monster Meal Deal, here is what’s included for an amount of Php 2,583 and good for 10-12 persons:

• Carbonara Supreme Platter
• Spaghetti Supreme Platter
• 2 family size pizzas (Manager’s Choice and Pepperoni)
• Chick n’ Chips Party Pack (Chicken with Mojos)

Birthday party package:

3 themes to choose from: Looney tunes, Barbie, and Hot Wheels.

We chose Looney Tunes for us not be biased since Frankie has male guests too. The package includes:

• Program Hosting
• 20pcs Invitation Cards
• 20pcs Loot bags ( coloring book and small crayons inside it)
• Game prizes
• 20pcs Party Hats
• Gift for the celebrant (which is the giant 4 flavors pizza) buffet since the party package already includes

We did not opt for a candy/ dessert buffet since the party package already includes an ice cream, and we do not want the kids to be so hyperactive and be calling out their parents the next morning due to tooth decay haha! 🙂

 

 

CONS:

The only thing that we did not like about Shakeys was they have a tie up with vendors. So if you plan to hire a vendor of tour choice, you have to pay an extra Php 1,000/ vendor. So I suggest to get one vendor only if you chose to get your own. That’s what we did, still it didn’t cost us that much compared to getting theirs. 🙂

All throughout, I’m proud and glad to say that the party was a success!!! Woohoo! 🙂  Cheerfully saying that this Nanay here was very happy because it didn’t hurt our savings/ bank account that bad haha and I guess it’s cheaper compared to the other venues so Shakeys was a perfect choice.

So if you are scouting for an affordable venue for your little one’s special event, who serves great food and kind crews,  I definitely recommend Shakeys. If you have more guests, their biggest function room is located at their Quezon Avenue Branch which can accommodate until 150 guests.  You can also check with the nearest branch through their store locator online to inquire about their package. 🙂
